Jacqueline Fernandez hails from the neighbouring country Sri Lanka, but the actress has been working in Bollywood films since a decade now. She started her career with 2009 release Aladdin and has surely come a long way with many blockbusters films on her name.
Recently, Jacqueline attended an event for Sri Lanka tourism. During the media interaction, the actress was asked that in this ongoing World Cup which team she will be supporting, India or Sri Lanka, to which she said, “First of all I don’t watch cricket, so I actually don’t know what goes on. But, when India is playing with anyone else I am always cheering for India, however when India is playing with Sri Lanka I go with Sri Lanka. I think the best thing is the fact that I feel a lot of love from India as well for Sri Lanka. There are so many times when I have watched the match in Bombay with my Indian friends and I am like ‘come on Sri Lanka’ and even they are like ‘come on’.”
Well, Jacqueline’s answer has surely impressed us. India vs Sri Lanka match will take place on 6th July 2019 and it will be interesting to see which team will win.
Talking about Jacqueline’s films, the actress has Drive in her kitty which will be hitting the screens this year. The movie, which also stars Sushant Singh Rajput, has been in the pipeline from the past few years, but it yet to see the light of the day. Reportedly, the makers are working on the VFX of the film. It is directed by Tarun Mansukhani and produced by Karan Johar.
Jacqueline is also set to make her digital debut with Shirish Kunder’s Mrs Serial Killer. The shooting of the series is currently going on. Reportedly, the actress has been roped in to star in the sequel to Chashme Baddoor opposite Kartik Aaryan. However, there’s no official confirmation about it.
