Another positive case found in Kundasale. COVID-19 count in Sri Lanka surges up to 2674

The number of patients tested positive for COVID-19 in Sri Lanka has surged up to 2674, with nine new infections identified yesterday (15), according to official records.

Related to the Kandakadu test cluster, a resident of Bambaradeniya was found to have contracted the virus, and the patient is being treated at Kundasale Quarantine centre.

Meanwhile, four returnees from the UAE and four from Qatar have also tested positive for the virus.

As of the present, 662 patients are under medical care, whilst 2001 have been recovered from the contagion.
