Akshay Kumar starrer Sooryavanshi was slated to release on Eid 2020 and even Salman Khan starrer Inshallah was scheduled to release on the same day. To avoid the clash, the makers of Sooryavanshi decided to release their film earlier in March. Now even Inshallah won’t be hitting the screens on Eid 2020, so Akshay has once again grabbed the release date.

No, it won’t be Sooryavanshi, but Akshay starrer Laxmmi Bomb will hit the screens on Eid 2020. The film also stars Kiara Advani and was slated to release on 5th June 2020. It is directed by Raghava Lawrence and is a remake of 2011 Tamil film Muni 2: Kanchana.

A few months ago the film was in the news because after the shooting kickstarted Lawrence decided to step down as the director of the film. He had tweeted, “Dear Friends and Fans..!I In this world, more than money and fame, self-respect is the most important attribute to a person’s character. So I have decided to step out of the project, #Laxmmibomb Hindi remake of Kanchana@akshaykumar @RowdyGabbar @Advani_Kiara.” However, after a few days, he returned to the project.

Well, the makers of Laxmmi Bomb has decided to release their film on Eid 2020, but the twist is that while announcing that Inshallah is pushed, Salman Khan had tweeted that his fans will get to see him on Eid. The actor tweeted, “The film with Sanjay Leela Bhansali is pushed but I will still see you all on Eid, 2020. Insha-Allah!!”

While the clash between Inshallah and Sooryavanshi was averted, we wonder if it will be Laxmmi Bomb vs a Salman Khan starrer at the box office on Eid 2020. Well, let’s wait and watch.

Meanwhile, Salman’s next release is Dabangg 3 which is slated to release on 20th December 2019. Akshay already had two releases this year, Kesari and Mission Mangal and two are left to hit the screens, Housefull 4 and Good News.
