PRIME MINISTER Boris Johnson has appointed Suella Braverman as the new attorney general, it was revealed on Thursday (13).
Braverman, a former Brexit minister, will be taking over from Geoffrey Cox who was sacked earlier in the day.
The representative for Fareham since 2015, Braverman has previously served as the parliamentary under-secretary of state at the department for exiting the European Union.
She later resigned in protest at former prime minister Theresa May’s draft Brexit deal.
